HOT CHICKEN WITH SUNFLOWER BREADSTICKS

INGREDIENTS

(4 servings)

  • 6 Grecian Living sunflower breadsticks
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • fresh ginger peeled and grated
  • 30 g green beans
  • 4 small corn cobs cut into 4
  • one garlic clove
  • juice of one orange
  • chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • pepper
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil

PROCESS

  1. Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces.
  2. Wash and trim the beans.
  3. Boil the beans in salted water for 15 min.
  4. Drain the beans in a colander, cover with cold water and drain again.
  5. Wash the pepper and cut into thin slices.
  6. In a deep pan heat the oil and then add the chicken.
  7. Cook for ten minutes.
  8. Add the pepper and corn cobs and stir for two minutes.
  9. Add the soy sauce, ginger, orange juice, garlic, pepper and chilli flakes and stir.
  10. Cook until the water evaporates and the sauce remains.
  11. Remove the pan from the heat.
  12. Place into a serving dish. Add the beans and combine.
  13. Add sesame seeds and breadsticks and serve.
